Who Should Get LEED Certified

You have probably heard the term "LEED Certified" before but do you know what it means? More importantly, do you know whether or not you're someone who should get leed certified? This is a certification that teaches people about sustainable building practices.

You should take leed classes if you fall into one of the following categories:
  • You're a builder. Anyone who is involved in any type of construction today really has to know all about the green practices that should be implemented in modern building.

  • You're a building designer. If you are involved in any aspect of building design at all then you should work in conjunction with builders to make sure that your designs are green-friendly. Leed classes can help with that.

  • You own a company. If you are the head of a company then you may want to take some of these classes just to learn more about what your business can do to be as green as possible. That's important to your clients so it should be important to you.

Of course, you don't have to fall into one of these categories in order to get leed certified. You could opt to take these classes just because you're interested in green building for any reason. But if you do fall into one of these categories then leed classes are something that you should be thinking about.

I agree with what this blog says because I think that LEED certification is only going to get more important in the future. You might as well be ready to meet the future head-on.

LEED certification really makes sense if you're dealing electricity, energy, or plumbing. So I think workers in all those areas need it.

Even though I own my own company, I want it to be as green as possible, so I'm getting LEED certified. That's a great credential to have, especially now when more clients are concerned with seeming green.

If you think about it, it only makes sense for everybody in a building company to get LEED certification. It's more expensive, but it will pay off in the long run.

Any construction professional who doesn't see the value of LEED certification is blind. This is the shape of the future for almost all construction trades.

Getting LEED certified is a good idea right now. Anyone in construction can benefit from what they'll learn from getting certified.

I'm planning on becoming an architect and I only want to build green buildings. That's why I'm getting LEED certified. It just makes sense.
